How do I get a boarding pass?
If you have electronic tickets (e-tickets) and the airline offers online online check-in, just go to the airline site to check in online and print a boarding pass, typically within 24 hours before your scheduled flight. Some airlines allow you to send your boarding pass directly to your mobile device for qualifying itineraries. Some itineraries may only allow the boarding passes to be printed at the airport. I have to pay for sporting equipment ?

My roundtrip flight consists of two one-way fares. What does this mean?
Some roundtrip flights consist of two one-way tickets, each subject to its own rules and restrictions. We make these combinations available for booking when the rate is competitive with regular roundtrip fares, and to provide you with more suitable options. With roundtrip flights that consist of two one-way tickets, there are a few things to be aware of: You will see multiple charges on your billing statement, from AIRFASTTICKETS and each airline booked. How do i pay baggage fees ?
These fees are not included in your total trip cost when booking tickets on our site. Certain airline's allow for payment on their Web site or you can pay at check-in. Make sure to have your airline record locator on hand, which is provided in your Airfasttickets confirmation e-mail and in Find My Trip
What documents do I need to go through airport security?
Please refer to the official Government Site for individual Country requirements. Generally, to proceed through airport security to the departure gate, you must present two documents: A valid government-issued photo ID, such as a driver's license or passport. The ID must show your name, date of birth, gender, expiration date and a tamper-resistant feature. An airline-issued boarding pass for the current date. Boarding passes are issued at the airline's ticket counter at the airport, curbside check-in, the airline's self-service ticket kiosk, or online from the airline's Web site. ESTA regulations for USA Travel The USA has implemented the new Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) for all passengers to the USA who are travelling under the Visa Waiver Program (VWP) (ie can enter America without a visa). This includes all passengers in transit who are using the VWP to change planes in the USA en route to another country. All passengers to the USA will still be required to submit APIS information Authorisation is normally immediate, but can take up to 72 hours. All passengers must have their own ESTA approval - this includes accompanied and unaccompanied children, regardless of age. Due to the above potential delay in authorisation, the US Department of Homeland Security insists that travelers submit ESTA registrations at least 72 hours before their US-bound flights are scheduled to depart. Other travelers: If you need a visa to enter or transit through the USA, you don't need to apply for an ESTA.

What about baggage weight?
The "weight concept" defines the amount of baggage entitled by the passenger's ticket in kilos. For example, an economy class passenger may be entitled to 20 kilos of baggage and a business class passenger to 30 kilos. For safety considerations and in order to avoid inconvenience at the airport, make sure that your suitcase doesn't weigh more than a maximum of 32 kilos (70lbs). If it does you will be asked to repack and transfer some of your belongings into another bag. Please note that the maximum weight limit relates only to single items and does not affect the baggage allowance or excess baggage charges, which are set by individual airlines. However, some airlines/airports may have limits per bag which are lower, and for journeys with a single carrier, there may also be baggage limitation. Therefore, check with your carrier in advance.

How do I choose my seat?
When entering your travel details during the AirFastTickets booking process, you have the option to choose a seat preference. The choices are either "aisle" or "window". However, choosing a preference does not guarantee you a seat of the type you selected. Rather, it is simply a request. As a note, for multiple passenger bookings, airlines will generally try to seat the passengers together. However, after booking, many airlines allow you to choose a seat on your flight. When and how you can choose varies by airline, so we've compiled a list of airline links that allow you to choose your seats online. Remember, some airlines require passengers to call in order to choose seats. Head over to our Seat Assignment Page to see if you can choose your seat online with the flight(s) you have already booked. You will need to provide some booking information (i.e. check-in number, e-ticket number, traveler name) in order to choose. This information varies by airline.
What about cabin baggage - how many pieces can I carry on?
Carry-on baggage must be stowed in the aircraft cabin which limits baggage to a size, weight and shape to fit under a passenger seat or in a storage compartment. Cabin baggage should have maximum length of 22 in (56 cm), width of 18 in (45 cm) and depth of 10 in (25 cm). These dimensions include wheels, handles, side pockets, etc. Baggage allowed onboard may vary from one to two pieces per passenger. Check with your airline as to what is allowed.
What do I do when my bag goes missing?
First, you report it to the baggage claims department on arrival. There you will provide information to the airline to help them track down your baggage. Most airlines use a global system called WorldTracer which a joint product provided by IATA and SITA, a technology group that is owned by airlines. All missing baggage information is filed on this system. Once a match is found, the baggage is returned to its owner. The vast majority of mishandled luggage is returned to the passenger within 48 hours.
Can we proceed with our check-in before the day of our departure?
All passengers should proceed with their online check-in online, 24 hours before their departure by inserting your Web check in number on your itinerary ,your name and ticket number.. How do I know my reservation is confirmed?

Can I request ticket refund?

If you did not enter your frequent flyer number when you made your airline reservation present it when you check-in and ask the ticket counter or gate agent to add it to your reservation. If you have completed travel, contact the airline directly for assistance.
Can I transfer my airplane ticket to someone else?
Airline tickets cannot be transferred to another passenger. If you find yourself unable to travel, please refer to your ticket's change and cancellation policies. Most airline tickets are non-refundable, and most airlines impose fees for changing or cancelling your ticket. If your name has changed, and the name on your ticket no longer matches your government-issued photo ID due to marriage, divorce, or legal name change process through the courts, you will need to arrive at the airport early and present the legal documents with proof of the name change (e.g. a marriage certificate) at the airline counter.

What if the name on my flight reservation is misspelled?
For security reasons, it's important that the name on your travel reservation matches the name on your government-issued photo ID (e.g. passport). Please make sure that the name you book your travel under is spelled the same as the name on your ID. If there is a misspelling on your flight reservation. Most airlines allow corrections of misspellings on their tickets, as well as corrections of nicknames . Most airlines, however, will not allow major spelling corrections. What should I do if the name on my ticket is wrong?

What kind of ID do children need when traveling?
On domestic flights, rules for children's identification vary by airline. Once you've booked your travel, check with the airline directly to see if you need to provide a picture ID for your child. For international flights, children of all ages need to provide the same identification as adults : a valid passport or other government-issued photo ID. When a child is traveling as an unaccompanied minor, the adult dropping the child at the airport as well as the adult picking the child up at his or her destination will be required to show identification. You will need to notify the airline in advance with the contact details of the adult retrieving the child at the final destination. Guidelines for traveling with children
Infants are children under age 2. Each traveler over the age of 12 may accompany up to two infants, each seated in its own seat, or one infant seated in the traveler's lap. For domestic flights, children under the age of 2 do not need an airline ticket if they sit on an adult's lap.* Please be aware that airlines permit only one lap infant per adult traveler. If you do not want your child to sit on your lap, you need to book a separate ticket for the child. On international flights, an infant must have a ticket, even if the infant sits on an adult's lap. In addition, full standard departure, arrival, passenger, airport, and security taxes apply to all infants. Please note that all persons, including newborn infants, are required to obtain passports in their own name. For children with their own ticketed seat, certain airlines require a personal infant car seat that will fit and lock into the airline seat during travel. I cancelled my hotel reservation. When will I be credited?

How old do you have to be to stay at the hotel?

Can I take my pet with me into the hotel?

Can I use my hair dryer or shaver?
Most ships have 110-volt outlets in the staterooms. But do check with us to be sure. Many ships even feature hair dryers in your cabin.
Can we stay in touch with the outside?
Quite easily. Most ships have a daily newsletter with news, headlines, selected stock quotes and sports scores. Staterooms on all of today's modern cruise ships are equipped with satellite televisions and in some cases in-cabin internet connections. While most ships now have telephones in passenger cabins, you can also call someone on shore through the ship's radio operator while at sea. And, you can make phone calls from most ports. In addition, many ships have fax capabilities and newer ships offer Internet access and e-mail capabilities to passengers.
Is motion discomfort a problem?
Today's modern cruise ships are quite large and contain hi-tech stabilizing devices and advance weather notification processes. In the unlikely event you experience motion discomfort, there are a number of over-the-counter solutions to ease your concerns. These include Bonine, Mecklizine, Dramamine, Transderm Scope Patches, and Seabands. Please consult with your physician or pharmacists before taking any medication.
Can I extend my cruise vacation?
We can arrange pre- or post-cruise land packages at the same time you book your cruise. And, in many cases, your airline ticket will include helpful options, such as free stopovers, that enable you to make your own special arrangements.
Do I need a passport for my cruise ?
Passports are required for all U.S. citizens to take a cruise aboard a foreign-flagged ship after December 31, 2006. If your ship departs prior to December 31, 2006 and returns after that date, you will still be required to travel with a passport. U.S. Citizens traveling aboard U.S.-flagged vessels in Hawaii and Alaska can board the ship without a passport, however, valid proof if identity is still required. U.S. flagged vessels include, but are not limited to, Norwegian Cruise Line's Pride of America. What should I think about when deciding to travel with my pet?
